汪亚平,博士,教授,博士生导师,国家杰出青年基金获得者。主要从事河口海岸沉积体系与地貌演化的现代过程研究。荣获教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”、江苏省“333 高层次人才培养工程”首批中青年科学技术带头人、第九届全国青年地理科技奖、海洋科学技术奖等。担任中国第四纪科学研究会海岸与海洋专业委员会副主任、中国海洋学会海洋工程分会常务理事;兼任《Anthropocene Coasts》副主编、《海洋科学》副主编。
